Details

The Anchor Boys meet every Friday night from the beginning of September through to the end of April, with only a couple of weeks off at Christmas. The night runs from 5.30 to 6.30pm and is open to all boys in primary 1,2 and 3.

The main aim of this section is to have fun, make new friends and learn new skills like craftwork, singing and games.

Annual programme

Each year the Anchor Boys have a Halloween party and a Christmas Party within the church hall. They also take part in the Battalion Art Competition (subject matter to be advised) and enjoy a Saturday morning trip to the cinema.

They are invited to attend the Annual Enrolment Service in Lyle Kirk and also the Christmas Carol Service as part of the programme.

They play a small part in the Annual Company Inspection, where they also get the opportunity to see what goes on in the other sections of the Company.

A trip to Funworld is also included a some point throughout the year.
