Details
The Junior Section meet every Friday night from the beginning of September through to the end of April, with only a couple of weeks off at Christmas.  The night runs from 6.30 to 8.00pm and is open to all boys in primary 4,5 and 6.

The main aim of this section is to establish discipline while still having fun and the evening includes games, marching, singing/music and badgework.

There are a number of competitions run at Battalion level, a list of which is shown under "events".  Each year we try to have a weekend away at an activity centre in Dalguise near Perthshire.

Annual programme
The Junior Section traditionally take part in the following Battalion events:

Art Competition

Unihoc

5 a side football

Saturday football league (numbers permitting)

Bible challenge

General Knowledge Quiz

Figure marching competition

Cross Country Running

In addition to these events they will attend the Company Enrolment Service, a Christmas Carol Service and possibly Lyle Kirk's youth service.

There will be parties to celbrate Halloween and Christmas.
